Daily devotional: Integrity

Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn't find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.
Daniel 6:4 NLT

Daniel's integrity was intensely powerful. Because he chose to walk with God in full integrity, doors were opened for him before God and kings, and the Lord was able to use Daniel in a mighty way. Thanks to the Lord, who gives us the Holy Spirit, that we may choose to live in integrity through His power.

May the standard of integrity I set for myself be such that the only chance of finding accusation is where my spiritual walk demands different behavior than that of the world. Choose wisely how I live, and lean fully on the Holy Spirit, that I may grow in integrity and enjoy its fruits.

Lord, thank you for Daniel's example, and thank you for lavishing the Holy Spirit on us, that we could even have a chance to live out our lives in integrity. May my life reflect Daniel's more each day, that there will be power in my witness, and so that Your Word will not be dismissed due to hypocrisy in my life. May You be glorified through my life! I love you!
