Daily devotional: Present my case to God

If I were you, I would go to God and present my case to him. He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.
Job 5:8-9 NLT

Eliphaz's adivce to Job has to be taken cautiously since he erroneously assumed Job's troubles were a result of sin and punishment. However, I really need the Lord's help deciding whether to pursue a house purchase, and these verses were great advice for me, and a reminder how awesome and capable my God is to overcome, provide, and work miraculously for those who trust Him.

Go to God and present my case to Him. Be confident in Him.

Heavenly Father, my heart is confident in You! No wonder I can sing Your praises with all my heart! For Your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May Your glory shine over all the earth. (Psalm 108:1,4,5) Now please consider my case and whether You want us to pursue this house purchase. We don't want a distraction from what is truly important, but we do want to see You work mightily and enjoy the blessings You have for us. I love You, my Lord and my God. You are almighty, omnipotent, and omniscient. I trust in You and ask You to work miraculously to show us what to do so that we can walk confidently with You in this decision.
