Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:33 NLT
This is one of my life verses, and the Lord really challenged me with it last summer. He challenged me not to just give lip service, verbally ascribing Him as first in my life, but to actually show it. Making God first in my life and pursuing His Kingdom above all else in each day has truly been life changing. It is not that troubles won't come--because they will, but I need not worry about provision of any need when my focus and allegiance is first on God.
Make it a priority each day to seek God's Kingdom above all else so that I don't get distracted or off track. Live righteously through the power of the Holy Spirit. Don't worry.
Heavenly Father, may You be worshiped throughout the world. May Your name be magnified. Thank you for challenging my priorities and allegiance since I do truly desire to follow You with all that I am. Thank you for showing me the contentment and joy and peace that come from seeking You first and foremost. I love you!
