Daily devotional: Don't be a stumbling block

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
1 Corinthians 10:31-33 NIV

We have great freedom in Christ, but Paul urges us to take care in how we exercise our freedom and even to the point of choosing to not exercise freedoms if they might result in a stumbling block to others.

Don't be a stumbling block by exercising my freedoms in Christ. Test my actions, and be cognizant of whether they will result in God being glorified.

Lord, thank you for this new day and for giving me rest. Please help me to be ever mindful of how I act so that in all things I will bring You glory. Please go with me today and grant me favor in the eyes of all who I come into contact with. And please help me to think clearly; guide me in all that I do. I love you!
