Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness."
Romans 4:20-22 NIV
Abraham was not justified by his works but by his faith, just as is the case for us. He held to his faith that God would keep His promise even when it did not seem likely, having children in his old age and that God could still raise up a nation even if he were to obey God and sacrifice his son Isaac.
Be fully persuaded that God has the power to do what He has promised. Do not waver through unbelief regarding God's promise. Be strengthened in my faith and give glory to God.
Lord, I have faith in You. I trust wholly in You. I don't know what will come my way, but I trust that You will take care of me and carry out Your plans. Please strengthen my faith and help me give ever increasing glory to You. I love you. Thank you for crediting righteousness to me for believing in You who raised Jesus my Lord from the dead. Thank you for not counting my sins against me, for justifying me and sanctifying me. Please continue to sanctify me more and more each day. I love you!
