For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Titus 2:11-14 NIV
We don't have to become perfect to come to God, but once we are His, we should expect Him to purify us to reject ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives, eager to do what is good.
Be available and pliable to the Lord. Let Him make me and mold me into the new creation He wants me me to be. In His power, reject ungodliness and worldly passions, and live a self-controlled, upright and godly life, eager to do what is good.
Heavenly Father, You are high and exalted, worthy of all praise, glory, and honor. You deserve our respect and our submission. May Your name be glorified in all the earth, and may my life and witness bring You glory. You sustain all things. Let me not forget that. And thank you for sustaining me so richly. I submit myself to your purification and transformation. Thank you for loving me, for saving me, and for redeeming me to be Your own. I love you!
